The first two modules in this course have explored why a transition to a wellbeing economy is urgently needed. Now, let’s look at how we can all lead from where we are. Maybe you’re working with a local community or maybe you would like to start a conversation about wellbeing economies in your team, to see what this means for your work. Moving towards a wellbeing economy is a journey that involves learning by doing, patience, and perseverance. This course is designed to help you on your way!
With the fundamentals established in Modules 1 and 2, you can dive into whichever topic is most relevant to you and explore each of the modules at your own pace. Here is an overview to help you decide where to get started:
Module 3
Module 3 looks at how to have constructive conversations about a wellbeing economy with those who have different views. It includes advice on how to engage in meaningful conversations to help shift mindsets, as well as evidence to help address concerns, clear myths and relieve doubts.
Module 4
Module 4 provides guidance on how to prepare and design a participatory wellbeing economy visioning process to determine what wellbeing outcomes our economies should serve. It builds on practical examples of how such processes have been organised in places around the world.
Module 5
Module 5 describes ways to measure wellbeing and track progress against wellbeing goals as well as how to use wellbeing data to set priorities for change.
Module 6
Module 6 explores how to build a wellbeing economy movement, connect pioneers together, build new narratives, experiment, find 'what works', and illuminate learnings.
Module 7
Module 7 provides examples of how to distinguish genuine wellbeing economy approaches from 'window dressing' and how to strengthen accountability for wellbeing.
